Chair
Tom is founder and Chair of Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group. He is on the Executive Committee of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Director of China Glorious Association. A senior economist, Tom has a Master of Business Administration and was named in the Top Ten Innovative Entrepreneurs in Global Hunan Business Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneurs.
Mike Zablocki
Executive Director
Mike is General Manager of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research and a Director of BioOra Ltd. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Bristol, before moving to New Zealand in 2002. In 2011 he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at Victoria University of Wellington.
Raymond Wu
Business Manager
Raymond is an experienced business manager with expertise in market analysis and strategic partnerships across multidisciplinary industries. He oversees business operations and external engagements for Wellington Zhaotai Therapies. Fluent in English and Chinese, Raymond facilitates collaboration between stakeholders across diverse markets. He holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Innovation Management.

Prof Graham Le Gros
CNZM, PHD, FRSNZ, FRCPA (Hon)
Director
Graham is the Deputy Chair and former Director of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. An immunologist, he completed his PhD at the University of Auckland then undertook a three-year Fogarty Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Washington DC before working for Ciba-Geigy in Switzerland. He returned to New Zealand in 1994 to lead the Malaghan Institute.
Dr Peng Li 李鹏
Director
Peng is co-founder, Vice Chair and Chief Scientist of Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group. A Cambridge University graduate, he completed postdoctorate studies at the Sanger Institute in the United Kingdom. He is a Research Fellow and PhD supervisor at the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, and Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was awarded Outstanding Youth from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and High-tech young talents and is involved in Changsha's plan to introduce urgently needed and strategic talents.
Andrea Grant
Advisor
Andrea is an experienced business development and intellectual property advisor with a background in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. She has collaborated with global research institutions and life science companies, specialising in commercialisation strategies, regulatory frameworks and the valuation of biomedical innovations. As an advisor to Wellington Zhaotai Therapies, Andrea provides strategic guidance on IP valuation, licensing and partnerships to support the company’s mission in advancing CAR-T cell therapy for cancer treatment.
